FT Audience Barometer Volume 11

Welcome to the eleventh edition of the FT Audience Barometer. This quarter, we explore how FT readers are navigating the Iran conflict, economic uncertainty and shifting business priorities.

Disruption is widespread

Nearly 80 per cent of working FT readers say the Iran conflict has negatively affected their organisation, with 63 per cent expecting the impact to continue for the next six months.

Yet optimism is rising

In a surprising shift, 35 per cent expect global economic conditions to improve, the highest level since Q3 2024. Business confidence also remains resilient at 72 per cent.

Priorities are changing

AI remains the leading company priority, but market share is rising up the agenda, overtaking AI in the finance and energy sectors.
